Formed in 2005 by Maria Brink and Chris Howorth as Dying Star before changing musical direction and band name to In This Moment, this act hailing from Los Angeles, California has come a long way in recent years to inflict their own style of gothic metal and theatrical live performance on their legion of adoring fans. With their debut album Beautiful Tragedy being released in 2007 and five subsequent albums including their sixth and latest release, Ritual, in the Summer of 2017, In This Moment has performed on several notable tours and music festivals before arriving at the Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee along with supporting act Sevendust. In fact, In This Moment is no stranger to Wisconsin and is actually a highly-anticipated act that has performed at various concert venues and music festivals throughout the state over the last few years to include their 2017 North American headlining Half God, Half Devil tour that just happened to kick off on April 7, 2017 in Milwaukee and followed in Green Bay and 17 additional cities along with supporting acts Gemini Syndrome, Avatar and Motionless in White.
Nominated as the Best Hard Rock Artist and Best Live Band by the Alternative Press Music Awards in 2017, it is truly hard to find a band in this day and age that devotes as much passion and enthusiasm to their stage performance than In This Moment since the likes of American rock band KISS who rose to prominence in the mid-1970’s with their face paint, stage outfits and elaborate live performances. In the same fashion, lead vocalist Maria Brink captivates her onlookers with several wardrobe changes and emotional lyrics throughout the evening in a successful attempt to create a serious overtone and deep experience based, in many cases, on Brink’s own personal experiences and tragedies.

THE VENUE: THE RAVE The Rave is a premiere multi-level, multi-venue, entertainment complex conveniently located off highway 94 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin hosting hundreds of concerts each year. The Rave/Eagles Club houses seven venues (The Eagles Ballroom, The Rave, The Eagles Ballroom Club Stage, The Eagles Penthouse Lounge, The Eagles Hall, The Rave Bar, and The Rave Craft Beer Lounge) ranging in capacity from 400 to 4000 people. The Rave/Eagles Club is highlighted by the spectacular Eagles Ballroom featuring an elegant 25,000 square foot dance floor and a stunning balcony that circles the ballroom. From the elegant domed ceiling to the eagle sculptures and intricate trim on the pillars, a concert at the Eagles Ballroom is a truly spectacular experience.
